Area Manager (East Sussex)

We have an exciting opening for an Area Manager role within CXK to lead our programmes across East Sussex that improve skills, employability, and opportunities for young people in the county.

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated manager who can lead staff to deliver exceptional services and influence partnerships to achieve great outcomes; keeping young people at the heart of what we do.

The right candidate will lead the local Youth Employability Service (YES) team and associated programmes to achieve outstanding performance, whilst driving excellence in quality of practice.

Main Responsibilities

• Effective coordination and delivery of all programmes for young people, adults and families in the area, ensuring high performance levels against targets and objectives, quality in approach and achievement of impact for beneficiaries.
• Develop and maintain positive external relationships with schools, training providers, colleges, local authorities, and other agencies to ensure clear pathways and progressions are available for young people in relation to skills and employability.
• Instigate, develop, and implement partnerships which place CXK at the heart of planning and delivery in East Sussex and beyond if required.
• Ensure that performance and other data is routinely gathered, reported, and presented as required by CXK and commissioners and is used to ensure services deliver in line with contractual KPI’s.
