The charity delivers careers information, advice and guidance (IAG) services in ten prisons across Kent, Surrey and East Sussex; supporting prison residents during their stay in custody.
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Careers Adviser to work at HMP Lewes & HMP Ford . The purpose of this role is to provide residents with professional and impartial careers information, advice and guidance; working with them to develop their motivation and work-related skills in order to enable then to move into employment, education, training, apprenticeship or volunteering on release.
The role holder will also work with the prison staff to recruit, manage, mentor and support a caseload of peer mentors, delivering inspirational IAG and Employability programmes in both 1:1 and group sessions as required.
