CXK’s Emotional Wellbeing Service supports children and young people to improve and understand their emotional health and well-being. Delivering in schools and local community venues the service works with 5-19 year olds through one to one support. The service is evidence based in its approach and are creative and passionate about the work we do.
We are looking to recruit Emotional Well-being Practitioners – particularly in North and West Kent (Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells,Tonbridge, Gravesend, and Dartford), who are qualified in counselling/psicological theraphy to a minimum of level 4 and hold a membership of a relevant professional body, such as BACP.
A key element of this role will involve working directly with children and young people aged 5-19 to improve their emotional health and wellbeing whilst also working with parents and stakeholders to improve their confidence and ability to give children and young people the support and direction they require to build resilience.
