HR Advisor

Location: Ashford (with option of hybrid working) Contract: Permanent, Full Time Salary: £33,488 to £37,715 per annum (pro rata) Closing Date: 17th June 2024

As a result, we empower individuals and strengthen communities across the south-east and we have an exciting opportunity to join our HR team as a HR Advisor.

As HR Advisor you will champion our employees’ growth and development whilst providing an excellent level of advisory support to managers and teams through your ability to build strong effective relationships and application of your employment law knowledge and expertise.

 You will not only work in partnership with our managers to support a wide range of advice surrounding the implementation of our policies and procedures but support the wider team with the development and implementation of HR initiatives. You will be a team player prepared to roll up your sleeves, this role will be coupled with the requirement to manage a range of HR administrative tasks to contribute to the employee life cycle so attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise are a must.

 **Please note that we will consider part-time applications for this role (min. 29.6 hours/week). Hours can be worked flexibly across Monday to Friday**

 Main Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of HR issues;
  • Manage employee relations matters including investigations, addressing grievances and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR Policies and procedures and initiatives to promote a positive work culture and employee engagement.
  • Create clear and effective communications and maintain accurate HR records ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
