Settling In Facilitator (HMP Elmley)

Location: HMP Elmley, Kent Contract: Permanent, Full-time Salary: £23,438 - £28,015 per annum Closing Date: 18th December 2023

We are looking for individuals who have previously served a sentence in a male prison.

We’re actively recruiting for 3 full-time Settling In Facilitators who will play a vital role in helping individuals at the start of their prison journey to settle in to prison life. If you have a background in the male prison environment and a strong desire to make a positive impact, this is the role for you.

As a Settling In Facilitator, your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality emotional resilience training sessions to prisoners. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in training and collaborating with peer mentors to provide ongoing support during the initial stages of an individual’s prison experience. We understand the importance of your own development, and to support you in becoming a skilled Facilitator, we offer comprehensive training, including opportunities to attain recognised qualifications.
