CXK is a leading charity that empowers young people and adults to build the skills and confidence they need to move into sustainable education, employment, or training. Each year we make a difference to more than 300,000 people across the South of England.
As a key member of our team of volunteers, you will help support other young people in your local area. As a Get Connected Mentor, you will be matched with a Mentee in your local area. All mentees are aged 11-19, with additional needs, who would like to improve their skills and connect with other young people in their community.
As a mentor, you will join your mentee at an activity of their choosing each week, for up to 20 weeks; in doing so, you will support them to build confidence, identify and fortify their personal skills, and encourage them to try new things.
You will be able to support our Get Connected team for 2 hours per week, for 20 weeks.
Please see our volunteer role description for further details.
