CXK is delighted to announce that our Digital Marketing Apprentice, George Gallagher, has been shortlisted as a regional finalist for the National Apprenticeship Awards, in the ‘Rising Star of the Year’ category.
George was shortlisted following an extensive judging process, involving a written submission which evidenced his successes over the course of his apprenticeship.
The submission detailed the extensive understanding of digital marketing that George has acquired throughout his apprenticeship; consistently exceeding against his objectives and using his own initiative to innovate and develop high quality marketing solutions.
Vanessa Potter, Executive Director at SCTP, supported George’s nomination, saying: “George has been a fantastic role model and advocate for apprenticeships. He has actively supported a range of SCTP apprenticeship information events to share his first-hand experience and learning, to the benefit of countless would-be apprentices, parents & carers; helping others to explore the apprenticeship pathway through genuine, inspiring, and motivating dialogue.
“George has no doubt had great impact in his apprenticeship role, changing the lives of many young people in a positive way; George is very deserving of an award.”
George said: “It’s an honour to even be considered as an applicant, and it feels great to be a regional finalist! I believe an apprentice can only be as good as the team around them, and luckily I have a great team. Now I must keep up the good work and I look forward to the finals!”
The results will be announced on 21st October. For further details about the National Apprenticeship Awards, visit: National Apprenticeship Service Awards 2021 (appawards.co.uk)
