CXK is Awarded National Careers Service Contract

25th July 2022

CXK is delighted to announce that it has been successful in securing the new National Careers Service delivery contract for the south-east region.

The National Careers Service provides personalised careers information, advice, and guidance (IAG) services to all adults, via individual and group face-to-face sessions, over the telephone, and through digital and social media platforms. The Service places particular emphasis on social mobility and building resilience, preparing customers for the needs of the future economy.

This exciting news means that the charity will continue to deliver inspirational careers IAG to adults in Kent and Medway, East and West Sussex, Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and Isle of Wight, via face-to-face support as well as online.

Pauline Smith, CEO at CXK, said: “We are delighted that we have been successful in being awarded the National Careers Service contract – a service we have delivered across the south-east since first winning the contract in 2015.

“The new contract will enable us to continue to deliver high quality IAG services, on behalf of the Service, to people in the south-east.  The careers landscape is ever-changing – particularly given the impact of the pandemic – and we are excited to remain at the forefront of being able to innovate and respond to the increasing and changing needs of the individuals we work with.”

The National Careers Service provides a range of services designed to help young people and adults to build the skills and confidence they need to move into education, employment or training. For more information call 0800 100 900 or visit the National Careers Service website.
