Graduating from university should feel exciting – but for many, it’s a time of stress and uncertainty. Rising living costs and a competitive jobs market mean thousands of students are leaving university unsure of what comes next.
To help, the National Careers Service and AGCAS (the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services) are teaming up to host a free online webinar on Tuesday 4th November 2025, offering students and recent graduates the chance to hear directly from major employers and careers experts.
The event, You’ve Graduated: What Next?, runs from 10am–1pm and aims to give graduates the tools and confidence they need to take their first steps into the workplace. Students can attend the full programme or just the sessions most relevant to them.
What students can expect:
Speakers will include representatives from PwC, RSA Insurance Group, Teach First, Enterprise, Graduate Recruitment Bureau, Institute of Student Employers, Mindless Academy, the National Careers Service, and AGCAS.
“We know many students feel anxious about their future after university. This event is about giving them the tools and confidence to stand out – straight from the people doing the hiring,” said Charlie Sunderland, Director of the National Careers Service South East. “We’re delighted to be working with AGCAS and some of the UK’s leading graduate employers to make sure students leave university better prepared for the opportunities ahead.”
Barrie Grey, President of AGCAS, said; “We’re proud to once again support the You’ve Graduated – What Next? webinar in partnership with the National Careers Service. AGCAS members are dedicated to helping graduates access meaningful jobs and opportunities, with many continuing to offer support years after graduation. Whether it’s guidance on using AI in job searches, providing interview attire, or offering mock assessments, our members deliver practical, hands-on support to help more graduates turn their dreams into reality.”
