Stephen Bell to Leave CXK

Wednesday 20th May 2015

CXK’s Business Development Director, Stephen Bell, is to leave the charity at the end of May.

Stephen joined CXK in 2013 following the merger with KCFN where he was Chief Executive.  At CXK he has made a major contribution to the diversification of CXK services culminating in the recent award of two significant contracts for the National Careers Service and National Citizen Service.

Commenting on his departure, Stephen said: “Now that KCFN has been successfully integrated into the CXK structure and mobilisation for the two newest contracts is well underway, I feel it is time for a new challenge.  CXK has a great team of people delivering amazing support to many people in need of help and direction in their lives.  I hope to use my experience to support more actively the other charities with which I am also involved.”

CXK Chairman, David Philpott added, “Stephen’s skills and experience have been vital in helping CXK through its most recent period of development.  Our contract portfolio is now more varied and we are no longer reliant on a few sources of income.  Stephen’s legacy leaves us with a sound base and well placed to move confidently on to our next phase of development.  He leaves the organisation in a far better place and with our best wishes for the future.”
