Pauline Smith, Chief Executive
Pauline was previously Director of Services for Norwood, one of the largest Jewish charities providing a wide range of information, support and innovative services for vulnerable children, young people, adults and families. She has a strong background in this sector having previously worked for Kent County Council in a number of leading education, skills, training, development and employment roles for over 20 years. Over the same period, she has devoted one month of her personal time each year to visit India to support two orphanages, a women's refuge, two learning disability charities and an HIV centre.
Gill Cahill has been in the role of Director of Business Development since September 2015, having been with CXK since December 2014. Prior to CXK Gill worked for Kent based homelessness charity Porchlight for 12 years, her last 3 as Director of Operations. She has also worked as a mental health worker for KCC, the NHS and the private sector. Outside of work Gill has just agreed to become a committee member for an Ashford based charity that offers therapeutic support and counselling to young people and vulnerable adults.
Craig Garton, Director of Support Services
Craig started his role as Director of Service Support in 2015 and has worked in the sector since 2000. A careers adviser by trade, Craig is a qualified careers guidance professional, assessor and project manager. He currently has responsibility for quality assurance, human resources, and the management of our sub-contractor supply chains. In his previous roles Craig has overseen the development of our traded services to schools, and managed contracts providing training for young people in Kent, Medway, Essex, Thurrock and Southend on Sea.
Anthony Crocker, Director of Finance
Anthony joined CXK in August 2016 in his role as Director of Finance. Anthony is a qualified FCCA accountant and is responsible for finance, human resources, ICT and facilities at CXK. Anthony has worked in the charity sector since 2008 holding senior finance roles. Prior to that, Anthony spent 10 years as an auditor for a top 30 firm of Chartered Accountants.
