We provide confidential and impartial information, advice and guidance to help you make decisions on learning, training and work opportunities.

Whether you’re thinking about your career choices at school/college, or have graduated from university and are struggling to get on the career ladder – CXK’s careers advisers can help.

Our qualified advisers can give you all of the information you need about local education and employment opportunities, and have access to the latest job trends.

We offer one-to-one guidance sessions to support you with your career planning, and a psychometric test to identify your strengths, aptitudes and unlock your potential.

We aim to inspire and motivate you, and provide you with all the information, advice and guidance you need to help you take control of your learning and working life.

We’ll help you to:

Explore education, training, apprenticeship and job options.
Explore further education, university, higher education and alternatives.
Research various job sectors and if they are right for you.
Search for training courses and learning providers.
Help you prepare an Action Plan to achieve your goals.
Find a job. We’ll give you advice on the different stages of a job hunt. including how to improve your interview techniques, and how to write an effective CV.

Support is provided through 50-60 minute face-to-face appointments with one of our careers advisers in your local area or at our Ashford office. This is a paid-for service for students up to the age of 18.
