Key Information

Canterbury Pathways provides residents of the Canterbury City Council district with access to free education and training courses to build your skills. Running until March 2025, the programme offers free, comprehensive support through one-to-one sessions and group workshops.

This opportunity is available to adults aged 19 and over, living in the following postcodes:

CT1, CT2, CT3, CT4, CT5, CT6

Access Local Education and Training Opportunities:

Participants benefit from a wide range of training opportunities, including:

  • Introductory courses in plastering, bricklaying, and property development;
  • Vocational programs in administration, childcare, construction, health and care, hospitality, and retail;
  • Advanced courses in digital skills, plumbing, electrical work, and leadership;
  • Targeted support in numeracy, English, Maths, IT, and ESOL courses.

Additionally, we provide essential life skills training in areas such as communication, time management, problem-solving, and leadership, as well as practical guidance on CV building, interview techniques, and job-hunting strategies.

Our Process

Personalised 1:1 Support: Meet with an Engagement and Employability Coach to discuss your situation, interests, and barriers.

Ongoing Assistance: Receive continuous support through further meetings, help with attending open days, enrolling in courses, or regular check-ins.
