How can I access the service?

Key Information

Our Emotional Wellbeing Service is a paid for service available to schools and colleges across the south-east. As part of the service, we provide person-centred counselling and brief solution-focused interventions which build emotional resilience and coping skills in children and young people.

Our School Careers and Emotional Well-being services were delivered to more than 50 schools supporting more than 4,000 young people.

We support children and young people who are experiencing a variety of difficulties in their lives, which can include:

  • Bullying
  • Death or critical illness in the family
  • Domestic abuse
  • Family break up
  • Sibling conflict
  • Poor home environment
  • Parenting needs
  • Learning difficulties
  • Transition/change

Services

Our Emotional Wellbeing Service is a confidential service delivered through one-to-one counselling and therapeutic support. Counselling is provided by CXK’s Emotional Wellbeing practioners who have a minimum qualification of a BACP accredited level 4 diploma in counselling therapy, or equivalent.
