A youth-led project in Thanet aiming to shape fairer, more accessible job opportunities.

Thanet Talks: Youth Employment Futures is a new project giving young people in Thanet the chance to share their real experiences of trying to get into work – the challenges, the barriers, and ideas for making things better.
Led by young people themselves, the project will help shape how Thanet creates fairer, more accessible, and more meaningful job opportunities for the next generation.
The project is particularly interested in the voices of young people who are neurodivergent and/or have SEND. Their experiences will be captured and analysed in detail, forming a key part of the project’s final report.
We are looking to recruit Youth Engagement Leaders (aged 16–24 and currently not in education, employment or training) to take a leading role in shaping and running the project. In addition, we invite young people in Thanet to attend sessions to help us understand the challenges you face in finding work.
