The Prince's Trust Team Programme is a 12-week personal development programme that helps increase your confidence, motivation and work-related skills, enabling you to move into employment, education, training, volunteering or an apprenticeship.

It begins with team-building activities, including a week at a residential activity centre and continues with community projects and individual work placements.  At the end of the programme there is a celebration of achievements with friends and family where you will receive End of Programme Certificates

Who is the programme for?

The Team programme is open to anyone aged between 16-25 who is not in employment, education and/or training, but is particularly aimed at those who face significant barriers to gaining employment in the long-term.

The Prince’s Trust’s has established three key target groups that they aim to help through programmes like Team, they are:

  • Young people in care or care leavers
  • Young offenders/ex-offenders
  • Young people who struggled with education

What are the benefits?

The programme will help you move forwards with your life.

You will also take part in community projects that raise funds for and help other local good causes. Teams have built, decorated and landscaped children’s play areas, community centres and communal gardens. They have also organised activity days for disabled and vulnerable adults and cooked for the homeless. In the last year, the Teams, led by CXK staff, have raised over £3000 and carried out over 200 days' work on these charities and community groups.

CXKs Prince's Trust is an Ofsted rated 'Good' programme. Read the full Ofsted report here.
