Key Information

Our dedicated team of advisers works with employers to support the redundancy process. This team tailors the National Careers Service offer to suit your business’s requirements, and supports staff to develop their transferable skills and find employment.

Our service can be delivered at the employer’s premises, minimising operational disruption and allowing easy access to the National Careers Service for ‘at risk’ employees.

We’ll provide:

  • High quality and impartial information, advice and guidance for staff facing redundancy. This can be delivered as 1:1 or group sessions.
  • Employability skills training – including CV writing, interview techniques and job searching.
  • Confidence and motivation building.
  • A personalised action plan for every individual.
  • Exploration of sustainable job opportunities, apprenticeships, traineeships, and further education.


  • Staff are fully supported to access new employment or learning opportunities.
  • Staff can be supported to retrain for different roles within your organisation, where required.
  • We help you effectively manage employees’ health and wellbeing.
