Empowering Numeracy Skills: CXK Launches “Making it Add Up!” Programme

CXK is proud to announce its launch of Making it Add Up!, a numeracy programme that will equip individuals without a Level 2 maths qualification with essential mathematical skills and confidence.

Making it Add Up! is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, and is free to attend.

The programme is being delivered in Margate and Ashford, and is available to individuals aged 19 and over, with the first programme starting in April 2024. Each 12 hour course will take place over 3 consecutive days, providing a flexible and engaging learning environment where participants benefit from various numeracy activities, that support with practical daily tasks such as household budgeting, and understanding payslips etc. These activities are complemented with positive   personal development support and sessions to develop career aspirations and opportunities, empowering participants to build their numeracy skills  and identify their next steps with confidence.

April Programme

Making It Add Up! programme – 22nd, 23rd & 24th April, 10am-2pm daily.

May/June Programme

Taster session – Friday 29th May, 10:30am-12:30pm

Making It Add Up! programme – 3rd, 4th & 5th June, 10am-2pm daily.

Venue: Droit House, Margate


July Programme

Taster session – Thursday 4th July, 10:30am-12:30pm

Making It Add Up! programme – 8th, 9th and 10th July, 10am-2pm daily.

Venue: The Old Court, Ashford
