Strength and Innovation in the Charity Sector: Medway Youth Trust Becomes a Subsidiary of CXK

23rd July 2020

CXK has announced that after an extensive period of discussion, negotiation and due diligence, Medway Youth Trust (MYT) has now become a wholly owned subsidiary of the Charity.

The boards of trustees of both charities have unanimously agreed that a combined organisation provides a stronger, enhanced service for beneficiaries.  MYT will now become part of the CXK family, integrating their staff and current services to CXK’s breadth of services across the South East.

Pauline Smith, Chief Executive of CXK says: “Within the charity sector it is always important to look at economies of scale, opportunities to strengthen and support beneficiaries and to collaborate with organisations with similar missions to deliver a joined-up approach that will benefit the individuals we work with.

“This is such positive news as we continue on our path of delivering transformational services to young people and adults. Now more than ever we know that so many beneficiaries are reaching out for support and we look forward to the months ahead where together we can continue to empower young people and adults to reach their full potential, inspiring them to thrive, and explore and support them to fulfil their aspirations and opportunities.

“We look forward to our staff continuing their vital role of supporting a growing number of individuals and strengthening communities. Together we are: One Team, One Organisation, Changing Lives!”
