The Youth Employability Service publish a new list every Friday afternoon, it’s full of opportunities across East Sussex that are appropriate for our audience of young people aged 16-18. Find more apprenticeships using the Government’s find an apprenticeship website. We’ve made a video explaining how to best use their website to search for an apprenticeship too. They’ve also got a find a traineeship website, traineeships can be a great way to prepare for an apprenticeship.
Find more jobs using job sites, we use the Advanced Job Search on Indeed to support our research for these lists, but there are many more good sites too. We have an East Sussex – Resources for Young People page full of more information around job searching, CV’s, interview preparation, and more.
YES is a free service that offers support and guidance to young people in the East Sussex area aged 16-18 (up to 25 with an EHCP) who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), or are at risk of being NEET. Visit the YES page for more information about the support available
